Blake Smith

Blake has over 10 years’ experience in property operations, initially in Victoria then with a transition from a Major Melbourne Shopping Centre to Adelaide and is now based at Vicinity Centres Colonnades as Senior Operations Manager.

Colonnades Shopping Centre is one of the largest regional shopping centres in South Australia, ideally located in the heart of the Noarlunga Town Centre. With a GLA of 63,000m2 the Centre comprises of 5 Major Retailers, approximately 200 Specialty Stores, 11 Mini Majors and 5 External Retailers.

Wayne Smith

Wayne is a retired Managing Director of Reading Entertainment Australia Pty Limited (Reading) and today remains with company as a Non-Executive Director.  He joined Reading in April 2004 and after 35 years in the entertainment industry had leased, developed or acquired 54 cinema locations, comprising of 447 screens that, in 2018, generated in excess of $350m in box office revenue.

Over 15 years he built Reading into a highly profitable (bottom line yield) cinema company upon a leasehold and freehold real estate foundation consisting of 30 locations, 203 screens with 11.2 million customers generating revenue of approx. $160m annually. He re-engineered Reading’s cinema business with a strategy that delivered a business personality that is unique and consumer orientated.

His interests expand into the live entertainment industry as a long-term professional musician and in 2020, with his wife Lisa, sold the successful farming enterprise ‘FAMER SMITH ESTATE’ a Victorian vineyard and accommodation business.  In his early work life, he started as a shearer and today remains in the agricultural industry.
