LINTERN HOLDINGS
Purchased in early 2021, Lintern Holdings is a 350-acre farm that’s located in the heart of South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula. The farm was originally a dairy operation which was held by the same family for nearly 80 years. A transformation and regeneration of the property is now underway with the establish an Australian White (AW) commercial sheep enterprise and AW stud operation.
In the few short years ahead Lintern Holdings will be established as not only a self-sustaining family pastural enterprise but with expansive areas set aside as a haven for wildlife within its substantial natural forested areas.
Our primary task is to manage a well performing and self-replacing Australian White sheep (stud and commercial) enterprise that turns off high quality marketable stud stock that are consistent with the AW breed characteristics and type plus prime lambs that are consistent with consumer expectation.
The Fleurieu Peninsula is 60km’s south of Adelaide’s CBD with its expansive coastline and beaches. Rugged cliffs, sheltered coves plus activities such as fishing, surfing, scuba diving, sailing, and winter whale watching are on offer as is Victor Harbour, one of SA’s premier tourist destinations.
